Here is an extra question: In our discussion on the existence - or lack thereof - of free will, what started out sounding like different opinions turned out to be remarkably similar. That is, the sense that we have the capacity for a lot more free will than we actually use. Not that we don't have the option of free will, but rather that we too often don't exercise it. I propose that free will requires some level of transcendence, and that love can be a kind of transcendence. What do you think?
